ESJMBA offers two seasons to participate in.  Our fall & winter season runs from October- March and registration is typically opens up for the season in August.  Our Spring season runs April-June and registration typically opens up in March.  Visit our Registration page for a link to sign-up when our registration windows are open.  Follow us on Facebook or subscribe for News updates delivered directly to your inbox by visiting our New & Events page.

ESJMBA tries our best to keep the cost to play as low as possible.  Our registration costs for our upcoming (2024-2025) season are:

23-24  Fall/Winter u7 $115

                     u9 & up $155

23-24 Spring All Ages $65

Aside from bringing enthusiasm and effort all your child needs to bring is a pair of shoes that are suitable for running, comfortable clothing and a bottle of water.

For our Fall/Winter season, players in age groups u9 and above will have a 1 hour practice during an evening throughout the week and will have 1 game on Saturdays.  Our u7 players will have one practice on Saturdays.  1 of the practices of the month will be a game day to help the players experience game-like scenarios.  

For our Spring Season all age groups will have 1 game per week on a weeknight.

.ESJMBA focuses on teaching the fundamentals of basketball and is open to everyone of all skill levels. Our best efforts are made to ensure all teams are rostered with a mixture of skill levels to ensure balance amongst one another.  This also helps teach those with more experience how to become great leaders and teachers amongst their teammate & friends.

At this time ESJMBA does not compete it competitive leagues/divisions and focuses solely on playing recreationally.  Travel is limited to within Saint John and the surrounding area.

TeamSnap is a third-party provider that ESJMBA uses to efficently manage our league.  It allows for seamless online registration, team management and communication for Us, Parents and Coaches.  Learn more about TeamSnap here.
