ESJMBA offers two seasons to participate in. Our fall & winter season runs from October- April and registration opens in August. ESJMBA tries our best to keep the cost to play as low as possible. Our registration costs for our upcoming (2024-2025) season are:
2026-2027 u7, u18 & Elevate $200
u9, u11 & u14 $250
Aside from bringing enthusiasm and effort all your child needs to bring is a pair of shoes that are suitable for running, comfortable clothing and a bottle of water.
Players in age groups u9 and above will have a 1 hour practice during an evening throughout the week and will have 1 game on Saturdays. Our u7 players will have one practice on Saturdays. 1 of the practices of the month will be a game day to help the players experience game-like scenarios.
U7 Teams practice on Saturdays (between 9am-3pm, times dependent on coach's practice time selection)
U9+ Practice times are not set until teams have been made and coach's have selected their preferred practice time. Any special requests for days that are not available for your child must be noted on their registration form to be able to be accommodated on a best efforts basis. Due to the high volumes, requests sent via email or direct message will not be accounted for.
100% minus processing fee before season begins after Thanksgiving weekend
50% minus processing fee Thanksgiving - Dec 31st
No refund after December 31st
ESJMBA Elevate is our adaptive sports program formerly known as ESJMBA Inclusive. It is built for late elementary (gr 3-5) and middle school aged children with physical and/or neurological disabilities. This 45 min, weekly program is designed to create an adaptive environment where children can learn and develop basketball skills in a safe space.
ESJMBA has heard player and parent feedback for a desire to return to the competitive basketball space. Beginning in the fall of 2025 we are happy to announce that ESJMBA Thunder will be returning for players in our U11 & U13 Boys.
ESJMBA's core focus will always remain on teaching the fundamentals of basketball and is open to everyone of all skill levels. Our best efforts are made to ensure all teams are rostered with a mixture of skill levels to ensure balance amongst one another. This also helps teach those with more experience how to become great leaders and teachers amongst their teammate & friends.
