Community Liaison - Ashley Bonnell

Ashley joined the board in 2024 as our community liaison, a role that in some ways was created solely for her charismatic enthusiasm she brings to our league. Her passion for basketball started in her younger years when she played for ESJMBA as a kid. You would often find her on a court competing to win, developing leadership skills and fostering teamwork among her peers. This passion and experience are what has lead Ashley to coaching her sons minor basketball team for the past four years. She brings a level of zealousness to her coaching that allows for a collaborative and disciplined team each season.

Within her role as community liaison, Ashley will be involved in spreading the word about our league to Saint John and its surrounding areas. She will be actively engaged with members of the greater Saint John area that can help teach, mentor and demonstrate skills and attributes to our organization. Her children are the driving force behind her commitment to this league and she looks forward to being able to help grow this organization and assist in creating the opportunity for any young basketball player to be able to experience a collaborative team environment, develop skills and create memories that will make a lasting impression.
